FedExCup Fall stops in Japan this week. The Baycurrent Classic runs October 8–11, 2026 at Yokohama Country Club — third of eight Fall events, 72-player field, Golf Channel coverage.
Board note up front: PropsBot has no scored PGA Confidence / Gap / Edge rows for this tournament at publish time (board-page and edge-slate pulls for sport=pga/golf returned empty). This is a public-field and course preview, not a Confidence stance card. When golf props score, they will show on the live board — we will not invent numbers here.
Course: Yokohama Country Club
7,322 yards, par 71. Designed by Takeo Aiyama and Hideo Takemura (opened 1960), remodeled by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2015. Second straight year hosting a PGA Tour event. Zoysiagrass fairways, rough, and tees; creeping bentgrass greens. Layout mix: 13 par 4s, three par 3s, two par 5s (529 and 536 yards). The long par-4 diet (several north of 450, including a 510-yard 11th) is the identity — not a bomber-only birdiefest.
Field snapshot (public list)
Seventy-two players. The alpha field includes major winners and FedExCup regulars: Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Adam Scott, Sungjae Im, Keegan Bradley, Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Sahith Theegala, Min Woo Lee, Kurt Kitayama, plus Japanese contingent names on the sponsor/exemption list (Kanaya, Kozuma, Nakajima, Nagasaki, and others).
Early tee-sheet favorites listed on PGA Tour pages included Beau Hossler and Pierceson Coody groupings — treat those as public tee-time labels, not PropsBot Confidence.
How to use this page
- Use it for schedule, course, and field context.
- Do not expect Conf/Gap/Edge quotes here — the PGA board is empty this week.
- When Top 10 / make-cut / outright markets score on PropsBot, re-open the golf board rather than trusting invented numbers on a blog URL.
Purse context on the Fall schedule: Baycurrent is listed among the $8M Fall stops. Eligibility still feeds 2027 TOUR season FedExCup positioning — that is why this Japan week matters beyond the trophy.
