How Confidence Scores and Fair Prices Work
Every pick on the board carries a Confidence Score anchored to the market, not to a hunch.
- Multi-book consensus. Same line, several books, vig stripped. A stack of -110/-110 becomes an honest implied probability.
- Fair price. That de-vigged consensus is the fair price. A book hanging off consensus is a candidate, not an automatic bet.
- Confidence Score. How hard the model agrees or disagrees with that fair price. Sort the Saturday board by that, not by kickoff time.
- Hit-rate context. Player markets sit on 78,465 graded 2025 college gamelogs. That is history, not a promise for the first Saturday.
A Confidence Score is a probability next to a price. Injuries, weather, a surprise scratch, or plain variance can sink any single play. The score exists so the process repeats. It does not exist so you can skip reading the number.
