Jalen Brunson has scored 30 or more in 6 of his last 10 games, and tonight you can get 30+ points at +245 on Kalshi. That price implies 29.0%. Of the three gold rungs on today’s ladder plate, that’s the widest gap between form and price, and it’s my first alt-line play. Luka Doncic 35+ at +163 is the second. Kevin Durant 20+ is the safest rung on the page and the one I’d least want to bet on its own.

NBA points ladder, last-10 hit rates: Luka Doncic, Jalen Brunson and Kevin Durant from 10+ to 35+ points, gold rung for each

Luka Doncic (LAL)vs LAC, 10:00 PM35+6 of 10+163 Kalshi38.0%
Kevin Durant (HOU)@ SAS, 9:30 PM20+9 of 10-250 BetMGM71.4%

Gold marks the rung, from 10+ to 35+, where the last-10 hit rate beats the implied probability of the best available price by the widest margin. One caveat before the picks. Brunson 30+ carries a Confidence Score of 31.4 and Doncic 35+ a Confidence Score of 38.9, which lands right around the prices. So the model isn’t screaming here. It agrees the prices are roughly fair and a hair generous. The bigger edge is recent form, and you should size it that way.

Jalen Brunson points: the 30 cliff

Brunson’s ladder is weirdly flat. He’s 6 of 10 on every rung from 22+ all the way to 30+. Then 31+ drops to 4 of 10 and 33+ to 3 of 10. So 30 is the last step before the floor goes.

You could take 25+ at -108 on Kalshi with the same 6-of-10 history. Why bother, when the same outcome rate pays +245 five points higher? Over his last 15 it’s 8 of 15 at 30+, so the longer sample holds up too.

Don’t confuse this with his main line. Brunson higher 25.5 at -102 on FanDuel carries a Confidence Score of 47.7 and a Confidence Gap of -1.5. The board doesn’t like the straight over. This is a ceiling bet at a price that pays for the misses, not a call that he has a big night.

Luka Doncic 35+: the one with the higher floor

Doncic is 9 of 10 or better at every rung up to 28+, 8 of 10 from 29+ through 32+, and 6 of 10 at 35+. He’s also 3 of his last 5 at that number. At +163 the book is pricing 35 like a 38.0% event.

The risk is the spread. The Lakers are 9-point favorites over the Clippers, and a blowout is the easiest way for a 35-point ceiling to get cut short in the fourth. That’s why he’s second on this list, not first, even with the better floor.

Kevin Durant 20+: a floor, not a bet

Durant has reached 20 in 9 of his last 10, and he’s 10 for 10 at 19+. The gold here comes from that consistency, not the price. At -250 you’re risking a lot to win a little, and the model is cooler on it than the hit rate: the 20+ rung carries a Confidence Score of 66.7, below the 71.4% the price implies. If you want him at all, he’s the leg you add to Brunson or Doncic, not a standalone.

His main line points the same way. The best number is 23.5 at -103 on BetOnline.ag, with a Confidence Score of 48.2 and a Confidence Gap of -2.7. That’s one more reason to keep him as a leg and not the bet.

Before you bet the ladder

Do the gold rungs win often? Not individually. Brunson and Doncic each hit their gold rung 6 times in 10. You’re being paid +245 and +163 for that, which is the point.

Why is Durant’s gold rung a minus price? Because his 20+ hit rate (90%) beats its implied 71.4% by more than any other Durant rung on the plate. Big edge on form, bad payout.
