Quick Answer
The PropsBot weekly pricing report tracks NHL player prop prices across US sportsbooks using the same exact-line method as the live WNBA edition. The NHL is in its off-season, and the current data window (July 14–21, 2026) produced no publishable NHL cohort. The NHL page goes live when the season does.

Quick answer: This page is the NHL home of the PropsBot pricing index. Once the data gate clears, it will publish the same numbers the WNBA pricing report carries now: how many exact-line prop points were comparable that week, across how many books, the median and 90th-percentile gap between the best and worst posted price on the identical bet, and which prop markets showed the widest disagreement. No estimates, no filler numbers. The page stays in preview until the real cohort exists.
What This Page Will Track
Once live, the NHL index will track the core prop board: shots on goal, points, goals, assists, saves, and blocked shots. Shots props are the highest-volume market and the one where books most often hang different prices on the same number. Goalie save props move with starter confirmation, which makes the T-90 capture timing especially relevant for hockey.
The format follows the WNBA edition exactly. For each market: observation count, median price gap in implied-probability points, the 90th percentile, and the widest single gap of the week. Overs and unders get measured separately, because books disagree about ceilings and floors differently. Near even money, every 2 points of gap is roughly the difference between -110 and -120 juice on the same bet.
Why There Are No NHL Numbers Yet
July is the dead zone of the hockey calendar. Books aren’t posting nightly NHL player props, so there’s nothing to measure and this page won’t pretend otherwise. The realistic first NHL edition lands when the regular season opens in October and full nightly slates return. The week a cohort clears the 20-point gate, the real numbers go up here.
This is a deliberate no-result, not a zero. PropsBot requires at least 20 comparable exact-line prop points and 20 side-level comparisons before a sport publishes. A sport that misses the gate gets labeled insufficient data instead of getting a trend invented for it. That discipline is the whole product.
How The NHL Pricing Index Works
Same method as every sport in the report. Pregame snapshots land 60 to 120 minutes before start; per book, the capture nearest 90 minutes wins. The sport, event, market, player, side, and exact prop point must match across at least two books, taken within five minutes of each other. American odds convert to raw implied probability, and the gap is max minus min, in percentage points, margin included. A cheaper price attached to a worse line gets thrown out — the comparison only counts identical bets.
What it won’t tell you: which side wins, which book is sharpest, or anything about closing-line value. It measures disagreement between books on the same bet. Turning that disagreement into a cheaper price is your job. It’s the easiest edge in betting.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the NHL pricing report have real numbers?
When the regular season opens in October and nightly prop slates produce enough comparable exact-line points to clear the 20-point publication gate. Expect the first gated NHL edition in the opening weeks of the season.
What will the NHL page measure once it’s live?
The distance between the best and worst posted price on the identical NHL prop (same player, same market, same side, same line), reported as median, 90th percentile, and maximum gap in implied-probability points, split by over and under and broken out by market.
How is this different from a picks page?
Picks pages tell you what to bet. This index tells you how much the price of the same bet varies across books. The NHL picks today page carries the current slate; this page measures the shopping opportunity around it.
Why does the report use exact-line matching?
Because comparing different lines rewards the wrong thing. A book posting a cheaper price on a worse number didn’t give you value — it gave you a different bet. Holding the prop point constant is what makes the price gap mean something.
Can I download the NHL data when it publishes?
Yes. Every edition ships an aggregate CSV, JSON, method notes, and a SHA-256 manifest from the main weekly pricing report. Aggregate only, with no raw prices or player identifiers.

The WNBA pricing report is the live example: 902 exact-line prop points across 5 books in the July 14–21 window, median over gap of 2.119 points, p90 of 4.452. That is the exact table your NHL page gets the week its cohort clears the gate.
